Last week at Savage Minds, Kerim Friedman wrote about the growing number of anthropology-related academic lectures and interviews available for free viewing online. In addition to the sites he mentioned, many universities post their lectures on their own websites. For example, here’s a very recent lecture which may interest readers:
João Biehl delivers Princeton’s most recent Presidential lecture (March 4, 2009) on “Social Innovation in Global Health: When People Come First.” The lecture builds on the work on the management of the AIDS epidemic in Brazil which appears in Biehl’s Will to Live: AIDS Therapies and the Politics of Survival (Princeton: 2007).
