Chloé Schaer
Chloé Schaer is a PhD candidate and graduate assistant at the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. Drawing on a feminist science and technology studies (STS) perspective that examines the intersections of gender and medicine, her work focuses on (bio)medicalization, gynecology, and pain. Her doctoral research explores the specialization of gynecological care and the problematization of hormones in the context of conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS (or PMOS), and menopause.
