Daniela Mosaad Pěničková

Daniela Mosaad Pěničková, Ph.D., is an applied medical anthropologist who dedicates her work to promoting culturally relevant health care systems. In the years 2000-2013 she received her professional training and taught at the University of Oregon and Northern Arizona University. For three years during the period, she lived on the San Carlos Apache reservation where she worked with Native Americans as a researcher and a community volunteer. Since 2015 she has served as an advisor for the Czech governmental institutions in the field of public health and social integration. She currently coordinates EU projects developing the Roma health mediation work in Velké Hamry and Liberec.
