Héloïse Pillayre
Héloïse Pillayre is a postdoctoral researcher at Sciences Po Lyon. After having worked on the politics of recognition and compensation of asbestos-related illnesses in France, followed by silicosis in South Africa, she is now interested in understanding the recent changes in cancer care in France, at the crossroads of sociology of public action, sociology of health and social studies of science. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals, including 'Compensation Funds, Trials and the Meaning of Claims: The Example of Asbestos-Related Illness Compensation in France,' Social and Legal Studies, Vol. 30, Issue 2, 2021 and 'What Rare Cancers have in Common.
