Jessica Nunes
Jessica Nunes is a registered CNPq researcher, and a PhD student of the Post-graduate Programme in Social Anthropology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. A ‘Popular Educator’ inserted in the field of disability studies and inclusion policies, her current research focuses on Romani culture and identity in Rio Grande do Sul, with interests in the intellectual history of anthropology and visual anthropology. She is a member of the Centre for Anthropology and Citizenship (NACi-UFRGS), the Study Group on Anthropology and Disability (GEAD-UFRGS) and the Centre for Anthropology of Indigenous and Traditional Societies (NIT-UFRGS). Since 2019, she has worked as a sociology teacher at the Minervino de Oliveira Popular Education Collective (PVPMO).
