Koichi Kameda de Figueiredo Carvalho
Koichi Kameda de Figueiredo Carvalho is at the Institut de recherche pour le développement, Paris. He is also a senior research fellow at the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD), and is affiliated with the Center for Population and Development (CEPED) at the University of Paris Cité, the University of Paris Sorbonne Nord, and the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm). He focuses his research on technological autonomy and health sovereignty initiatives, pharmaceutical R&D models aligned with equity and social justice, contributions of the Global South to technoscientific globalization, and global health policies in emerging countries.
