Nils Graber
Nils Graber is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Chair for the History of Science at Humboldt University in Berlin. He holds a PhD from the Cermes3 research centre at the EHESS in Paris and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Lausanne. At the intersection of STS, the history of science, and medical anthropology, his research examines care and research practices that question the boundaries between biomedicine and social medicine in different places. He has conducted research on experimental care in immuno-oncology, the role of primary care during the COVID-19 pandemics, and the globalisation of biopharmaceuticals, particularly in Cuba, Switzerland, and Brazil. His new project examines the transnational networks of cancer research involving socialist countries in the 1970s and 1980s as a genealogy of what is today considered as ‘global oncology’.
