Shagufta Bhangu
Shagufta Bhangu is a Lecturer in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at King’s College London. She is a medical and social anthropologist researching emergent epistemic forms, phenomenological experiences and therapeutics of pain and cancer in South Asia. She completed her PhD in Sociology and Social Anthropology from Shiv Nadar University, Delhi and was a Fulbright Nehru doctoral scholar in UCSF-UC Berkeley in 2017-2018. She is a co-convenor of the Political Stakes of Cancer Network and has recently co-authored the paper, 'The Political Stakes of Cancer Epistemics'.
